Using transferatu

transferatu is a desktop application for sending files directly to people you have paired with. You need an account to use it, and you are responsible for keeping your password and your invite code to yourself. Anyone holding your invite code can ask to be paired with you; you can regenerate it at any time.

What you send

You are responsible for the files you send and for having the right to send them. Because the contents never pass through our systems, we cannot inspect, moderate, recover, or remove them. A transfer that has arrived on someone else's machine is theirs.

Beta software

This is an early build. Transfers can fail, connections can drop, and a file that did not arrive has to be sent again. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. transferatu is provided as is, without warranty, and we are not liable for lost data, lost time, or lost transfers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use transferatu to:

  • Distribute material you do not have the right to distribute.
  • Send malware or anything designed to damage another machine.
  • Harass someone who has removed you as a friend.
  • Attack, probe, or overload the pairing and presence service.

Either person in a friendship can remove it, from either side, at any time.

Ending it

You can stop using transferatu whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to support@acroqube.com. We may suspend an account that is being used against the rules above.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the app means the current version applies.
